Diane Roberts is an Emmy, Murrow, Telly, AP and SPJ award winning  Journalist. She has been working in broadcasting since she co-hosted a  news program about her high school on a small-town radio station in  Georgia. She's been working in radio and television ever since!

After graduating from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Roberts worked  as a reporter/anchor in several cities before landing in Washington DC. She

worked as a sports anchor/reporter for Fox5 DC and WUSA9 covering  Washington's professional, college and high school teams for 20+ years.

She's also been an update anchor in radio at SiriusXM Sports and Voice of  America News.  Currently she uses her years in broadcasting to help share stories as a

member of the Laura Evans Media team, while working as a sports update

anchor at WTOP. She’s been there since 2022, adding news update anchor to her duties in 2023.

Roberts has had a variety of other jobs from a freelance field producer for Entertainment Tonight to a sensitivity reader for Science Magazine.

As President/Founder of Diane's Talking, she produces videos for companies and non-profits, is a media/public speaking coach and a voiceover artist.

 She is coming to talk with students about the world of broadcast journalism

Reception and Awards Ceremony Thursday, April 2, 6-8 p.m.  

Now in its 26th year, the Calyx Schenecker Art Infinitum displays winners of the Annual Hillsborough County High School Fine Arts Competition. The juried competition gives students an opportunity to be recognized for their achievements in the visual arts, with scholarships awarded to students in the categories of 2D art, 3D art, and photography. The exhibition, awards ceremony, and reception will take place in Gallery3@HC Dale Mabry Campus.
